Uzmosis was conceived with the notion that we have everything we need around us - all answers, wisdom, information, entertainment, laughter, ideas. Inspired by the concept of free exchange, Uzmosis provides a space in which we can share and absorb interactively, in a very brief way.

You’re invited to the site as a visitor to browse and absorb from a variety of topics. You’re also invited to share your thoughts, tips, and creative imaginings. The format is kept short for each entry.

At any point in our lives, we have some wisdom to impart.

A guide to our Categories and Topics:

Animalia – We have one Topic right now, Wild or Tame, for any and all thoughts or stories on animals, some from wildlife, some from your own home.

Business - This is a really broad category we've divided into three Topics such as Best Biz Ideas, X-Cultural Tips, and Entrepreneurs. Business may be the route to economic recovery and growth, so we need all ideas, small business, big business, national, and global.

Catch All – We know we’ve missed a whole bunch of areas our visitors might want to post in. So we’ve created this Category with the Topic: Surprise Uz. Please do!

Creativity – Creative thought occurs everywhere all the time. For starters, we created three Topics to post into, Short Poetry, Fun & Funny, and Recipes in 140. Why not create a really short poem? No one’s judging. A joke in 140 characters means a quick punch line, and a recipe in 140 characters should be easy to follow.

Deep Green – We all need to go green in many ways, but we’ve focused on two Topics here, Green Home, and Green Actions. Every idea counts here.

Freebies-Coupons – This one’s easy, it’s all about savings with our one Topic: Sales! Free! Please let us all know where we can find great deals on products, groceries, sales, etc.

Hobby Time – Expect this category to grow, since we kicked it off with Gardens and obviously there are many more hobbies and activities out there. Suggestions welcome!

Money Sense – Another one-topic Category so far: Saving $. Share your budgeting tips, best ways to stretch your dollar, deal with your credit cards, all that fun stuff.

On Trend – This one’s just fun and we want to hear your thoughts on the latest for Guys Fashion, Trends – Women, and Accessories. What are people really wearing out there? What trends should be avoided?

Our World – Reach out and tell us your tips and thoughts on the world around us. Topics here fall under Nature, Science, Hidden Places, and Travel Tips. The more we know, the more we share, the more we gain.

People – The people in our lives are our biggest source of both inspiration and aggravation. Share quick tips on dealing with this or just sharing a laugh under Workmates, Friends & Lovers, and Family & Kids.

Provocative – Some thoughts need no follow-up, some questions have no answers, but sometimes we get to ponder. What ideas should be thrown into our midst? Our Topic here is For Thought…

Sports & Active – Lots of you have lots to say about sports and your teams and individual achievement. But can you say in 140 characters?

The Best… - All of you are connoisseurs of things and places. We want to know where to Go Now, what Places, and Eating recommendations.

Tiny Karmas – We have one Topic here: Karmic Loop. We invite you to share good ideas and deeds that we hope create a ripple effect.

Wellness – We expect to see more Topics added here because so much of what we do in our lives is an effort at Wellness. We started with the most popular Topics: Diet/Nutrition, Health, and Fitness.

What’s Cool Now – This Category is all over the place to cover the newest and funnest, from Cool Websites, to Cool Film, Cool Art, Cool Stuff, Coolest Music. There’s a Topic for all tastes.

Working Life – What fills our day? This Category takes you from Topics like Job Hunting, The Interview, to On The Job. We all need all the help we can get here – please share your best tips!
